Measuring – Sizing Harness
To get the most accurate size harness measure with a cloth tape measure. NOTE – If you don’t have a tape measure use a piece of string then measure it with a rigid ruler.
Measure the girth of their chest just behind the front legs
Pull the tape snug, but not tight
Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the harness and your dog’s chest
Girth – To make sure you purchase the right size wrap the tape around the widest part of your dog’s torso, right behind the front legs.
Lower Neck – Be sure to measure from the lower part of the dog’s neck because harnesses sit lower on the neck than collars.
